Olwen Jackson is the founder and principal teacher of Gwenlo College. Olwen has 18 years of teaching experience at all levels of education, including teaching learners with learning disablities, such as dyslexia. Gwenlo College employs tutors to teach certain of the subjects. Claire Phillips, a University of Johannesburg graduate in educational psychology, is incharge of teaching the Grade 8 students and matric geography, a subject in which she obtained a matric distinction. Karen Booysen, a former Gwenlo matriculant, tutors the history syllabus to the matric students. Sarah Bastiaanse, a second year accounting student, teaches mathematics and business studies, as well as tutors accountancy, all of which she obtained matric distinctions in. |
